Your guide will be waiting for you at the arriving hall with your name on a signboard, drives you to your hotel in Windhoek for a well-deserved rest. Afternoon, take part in a short city tour and return back in time for our welcoming dinner at one of the best eateries in town, your guide will give you an overview of your upcoming two-week adventure.
Windhoek means (wind corner), situated in the Khomas Hochland plateau area between the Aus and Eros mountain ranges. It sits at 1,600 metres above sea level and it’s the12th highest capital in the world, with a population of 400’000 at a low density of only 63 people per square kilometres. After breakfast, we are off on our first journey to the Kalahari Desert. Late afternoon you will take part in a panoramic dune drive in an open 4x4 vehicle, to experience the Kalahari magic as the sun light up the sand and the earth seems to pause for the Kalahari. At sunset, refreshing drinks are served at a view point. Return to the lodge in time for a delicious dinner. Overnight stay at the Lodge with dinner and breakfast.
The journey takes us to a forest of Namibia’s national plant, the unique and beautiful Quiver tree. It is actually a very large succulent and its distinctive shape and highly textured bark make for a beautiful photographic subject. Afterward, drive to the scenic Aus, on arrival relax and enjoy the scenic view unfolding before us. Overnight stay at a Lodge with dinner and breakfast.
We rise well before dawn and depart to explore the hidden treasures of the world-famous ghost town of Kolmanskop. An old deserted mining town, full of unique and beautiful photographic opportunities. Afterward, head to Luderitz a nearby coastal town for lunch. Afterward, drive back to our lodge for a well-deserved leisure. En-route we visit Garub in search for wild horses if they are in the area. Today we travel through some tiny rural communities along the way. The scenery is harsh and sometime forbidding, the process of erosion in these areas is well advanced and we pass time rounded ‘koppies’ arid terrain outcrops of tortured rock. The terrain begins to change as we cross some open grass savannah and farmland before it starts to give ways to the immense red sand dunes of the Namib. Overnight stay at one of the safari lodge in the area where black rhinos reside, in the evening right before dinner they (rhinos) visit the waterhole in front of our restaurant a distance of about 10 meters. Surely, an experience which will stay with the guest forever. Overnight stay with dinner and breakfast.
Excursion to Sossusvlei dune fields, Dune45, Deadvlei and Big Daddy. Deadvlei was once an oasis packed with Acacias trees, fed by a river that suddenly changed course, leaving the earth to dry up together with the trees it previously supported. Deadvlei is now a famous cracked clay pan filled with beautiful intricate shaped dead tree (about 900 years ago), surrounded by giant red dunes. This experience will surely stay with you forever. Once explored all this surrounding area, we return to our Lodge for an afternoon leisure, relax at the swimming pool or enjoy the afternoon nap! Overnight stay at with dinner and breakfast.

Drive Northwest via the Tropical of Capricorn then to the scenic Gaub and Kuiseb Canyon passing fantastic rock formation and the ever- changing Desert Landscape. Leisure stop at Walvisbay to enjoy the sight of the flamingos and other birds’ species on the lagoon. Walvisbay is Namibia’s main harbour town, well known for its prolific bird life. The lagoon and salt pan are the most important coastal wetland in Southern Africa, as over 150,000 migrant birds spend the summer there and more than 50’000 in winter. Afterward, proceed to Swakopmund and check- in our hotel. Today’s dinner is at one of the best eateries in town. Swakopmund was found in 1892 by captain Curt von Francois as the main harbour town for the imperial Germany colonial government, while the deep-sea harbour at Walvisbay belonged to the British at that time. Overnight stay with dinner and breakfast.
Memorable Kayaking Adventure within the outer Walvisbay lagoon; Kayaking is an ideal way of seeing Cape fur seals, Heaviside and Bottlenose dolphins, Flamingos, Pelicans and other sea birds. There is also a chance of seeing whales, Leatherback turtle and sunfish. Refreshment will be served before you head back to Walvisbay. Alternatively, you have the choice to partake in a Board Cruiser excursion within the outer lagoon should the kayaking not appeal. Here too the same sea creatures will be spotted as on the kayaking. During the course of the excursion snacks and sparkling wine together with fresh oysters will be served on board, before returning to the jetty at midday. Drive back to Swakopmund and the day will be at leisure. Optional activities such as Quad biking in the dune or Scenic flight can be booked at an extra cost. Today’s journey takes us northward along the skeleton coast, visiting one of the many shipwrecks along the Atlantic coastline, afterward we will turn inland right into Damaraland passing Namibia’s highest mountain BRANDBERG at 2,573 metres above sea level. Today’s excursion is Twyfelfontein (meaning ‘Uncertain Spring’), It is a massive open-air art gallery that is of great interest to international rock art connoisseurs. The 2000 plus rocks, estimated to be 6000 years old represent one of Africa’s largest concentration of rock art in Africa. We will be at our lodge in time for a sundowner with a drink and enjoy the magnificent view unfolding before us! Overnight stay with dinner and breakfast.
Morning visit to the Damara Living museum. Damaras are local people in the area, you will meet them and they will be happy to welcome visitors who want to learn about elements of their traditional life style. Afterward, we travel to the Etosha National park, famous for its wildlife capabilities. Etosha National park covers more than 22,300km (8,620sq), the name Etosha means “great white place” referring to the white massive (130km long and 50km wide) dry pan in the middle of the park, believed to have been formed over a 100 million years ago. Arrival at our lodge on the southern outskirt of Etosha will be late afternoon with enough time to freshen-up before dinner. Overnight stay with dinner and breakfast.
A full day of exciting game viewing in Etosha National park, visiting numerous waterholes that attract a large diversity of wildlife and bird species. Etosha hosts 114 mammals and 340 bird species, it boasts some of Africa’s best wildlife viewing opportunities and it is home to four of the Africa’s big five such as Lions, Leopards, Elephants and Rhinos, and many other species of antelope. Etosha was named a game reserve in 1907 by a governor of a then German South West Africa and was elevated to the status of National park in 1967 by an act of parliament of the Republic of South Africa which administered South West Africa that time. Erindi Private Game Reserve is the custodians to the most prolific amount of endemic species and multiple conservation projects. It has 70’719 hectares of pristine wilderness. Here too, we will encounter many game species, such as Elephants, Lions, Cheetahs, Leopards, Giraffe and many antelopes. Erindi also house Hippos, Crocodiles and waterbucks. Shortly after arrival, you will take part on the afternoon game drive across the reserve in an open Jeep with a residence guide. Return to the lodge right in time for a tasty dinner and many exciting stories to tell. Overnight stay at the Lodge with all meals.
After a morning game drive, the day is at your disposal, take part in many optional activities of your choice such as, cheetah walk, private photographic safari, leopard project drive, telemetry tracking (etc).
